Hi im jay, i came over from another calorie counter and have so far been very happy with this one, i am diabetic and have struggled to reduce my bsl but now have gone from high 20's to 6.9, to me that is just awesome, ive also reduced my salt intake which s great. my goal is to loose 25 kilos and really hope i do, anywho so far so good.

Welcome! Congratulations on getting your sugar levels down. That is fantastic! I've struggled with gestational diabetes with my first 2 pregnancies and am hoping that I won't have to this pregnancy (currently 24 weeks along). This site is a really great place for getting support. I have made a few friends on here that I am proud to say that I can call true friends. I'd be happy to support you in your journey. :-)0

Thanks all nice to have some support through this process, the word diet sucks and life style change is so hard to control and stick with. im calling it life extension which has a massive impact on me as i want to watch my kids grow. to have my bsl down to normal is probably the start less sugar in means less sugar to burn, Ive stopped buying reduced fat products and switched to reduced salt, reason is when they remove fat they put sugar back in it place so pointless. i also don't by recipe bases just make everything from scratch which makes it more time consuming entering into food chart, ive got my next dr appointment tomorrow with a weight-in and meds review, heres hoping hes happy cause i am
