On my way out the door to run my first official 5K! Nerves are kicking in!

    Have fun! My wife and I ran our first ever 5k a few weeks back. We both finished! That was our goal. We really enjoyed it.

    enjoy it. I'm taking my dog to a 5k walk today. It will be fairly leisure stroll. My next planned one is 5/12

    Thanks guys! I ran it in a PR time of 35:40. I placed 2nd in my age division! Got my first running medal :) **And yes...this was a small town 5K...but I will embrace every victory :)

    Congratulations! Who cares if it was a small town 5K, you ran a PR! It would have been a PR if there were 10,000 more people running. You did great!

    great job!! Took 45 minutes for my dog to finish his today - he had to smell and visit the shrubs along the way :)

    Thank you all so much for the support and positive feedback. I am running another 5K next weekend with my husband and our 9 year old daughter. Excited!
