  • Sautee chicken in a little olive oil with mushrooms and zucchini. (or any other veggies you like). It feels like you're cooking Italian, but practically carb free!

This is a diabetes website that, by definition, features a lot of low-carb recipes. I have used half a dozen recipes from the site and all have been excellent. Just made the low-carb beef stroganoff tonight in fact.

Personally, I disagree with the whole low-carb approach, but I had some blood-sugar issues earlier in the year which required that I shift in the low-carb direction for several weeks which is why I used the site. The recipes are still good and are free of the kinds of "processed" carbs that you want to avoid anyhow so I still visit there frequently for new ideas. I just modify the recipes or the meals to bring in the whole-grains, etc that I think are essential for a balanced diet and optimum performance.
  • When I attempted low carb once I found this website:

I got A LOT of ideas there and made several of her recipes. My husband even liked what I made!

    Hope it helps! :flowerforyou:
