So I just bought myself a kindle. And was wondering if anyone had any experience with any good reads down the fitness/diet genre?

I would just go to Amazon and search for things the way you normally would--then download (if you can)
Just want to say I LOVE my Kindle. Picked Kindle over others because we cruise alot and I read alot outside so wanted to avoid sunglare. You will love it.0 -
I have a Nook, but in any case, go to Amazon.com and use the search engine. Look for the freebies first!0

I got one because I don't read. I know that sound silly but I think in years I've only read maye 6 actual books. I'm terrible! So I decided to get one to get back into reading. Working so far!0

If you like reading on the treadmill, once you use Kindle and don't have to physically flip pages you'll never go back to paper books.
I have an iPad and a Kindle but I use Kindle at the gym: its screen is easier on the eyes, plus I don't want to be "that guy" with the iPad at the gym.0 -
Sorry, no fitness recommendations but just finished "The Rook" - kind of a supernatural mystery. Very enjoyable, easy read - especially at the gym.0

some I've liked: fitness-You Are Your Own Gym (Mark Lauren), diet- Beck Diet Solution (no food recommendations, just thought-provoking ideas about how to think differently about food); The Mayo Clinic Diet; and also 4-day Win by Martha Beck. You can shop on your Kindle, but unless you know what you want, I find it much easier to shop online. If you go to the Kindle books site, in the top left corner there's "100 Books under 3.99"-- I've had better luck with cheap Kindle books than free Kindle books. Except classics which are free since there's no copyright on stuff that's more than 90 years old-- try "The Woman in White" and "The Moonstone" (both by Wilkie Collins).0

I loved all three of Dean Karnazes's books. He's an ultramarathon runner and is really inspiring as well as down-to-earth. Would definitely recommend.0
