Do you log fruit? (sugar question)

Do you guys log fruit? I made myself a mixed berry/fruit smoothie, and now have 0g sugar left. Since fruit has natural sugars, should I worry about going over on the days that I make these smoothies? Or is sugar sugar and I'll probably just be over? I haven't really had anything else with much sugar in it today, mostly the fruit and it has taken it all, and I haven't even had dinner yet, and I will probably have a 100 calorie snack later after dinner. What are your thoughts? I have just gotten into making smoothies (today was the first day) because it helps me get fruit in. I don't really like to sit and eat much fruit unless it's a banana or grapes, sometimes strawberries. I put watermelon, blueberries, watermelon & strawberries in it, all of which I don't like to sit and eat by its self because of the taste. Any input is appreciated, Thanks!

I always log in fruit. I've read that you should have 25 grams of sugar a day and others say up to 100 grams. I track it so I know where I'm at. Personally, I try to limit the amount of added sugar I eat since it is in everything from ketchup to aspirin. Right now, I'm looking for a good greek yogurt without added sugar and will mix in my own fresh fruit. The sugar-added kind I've been eating has an extra 12 grams.0

First off, great choice on your son's name! I also have a Kaden! ;-)
Secondly, as long as you are not eating things with added sugar or have diabetes, don't worry about the sugar count. If it comes from natural sources, it's okay.0 -
Log fruit.
Sugar you should be concerned about is added sugar.0 -

Exactly. Sugar, whether natural or refined, is processed by the body the same way. The only thing that matters in weight loss is a calorie deficit. Fruit is healthy for you and as long as you don't have a health condition that you need to be careful about sugar, you should be fine.0 -
I always log fruit along with everything else I eat.0

You need to log fruit in order to count the calories and carbs. You need to keep your overall diet in balance, in terms of carbs, protein and fat, no matter what your individual goals are. I think the total carb count is much more important than the grams of sugar, even if you're diabetic. But the less sugar you eat, the more likely it is that you're eating slower burning carbs, which should keep you fuller and help you to stay on plan.0

Thanks for your input everyone I just calculated up the sugar I have without the fruit smoothie and I'd be positive. So I'm really not getting many bad sugars...so on the days I have a smoothie I won't stress too much about the sugar.0
