Starting slimquick tomorrow... Advice?

I'm 21, and a mother of a three year old girl. I weigh 224 pounds and I hate it. I'm 5'9", and I feel most comfortable around 170-180 pounds. I do pilates and yoga for around an hour a day, and I take three hour long walks during the week. I've decided to start slimquick to try and give a little extra boost, but I'm really nervous.
Has anyone taken this before? Success or failure stories?

I've taken it. I took the caffeine free and I lost 4lbs along with diet and exercise. I exercise regularly anyway so I know it wasn't just that and I reduced my calories to about 1400 a day. I lost that in about 9 days. I am going to do the slimquick cleanse pills starting tomorrow. It's worth a try, if you don't like it you can take it back to the store since they have a money back guarenetee0

Just throwing in my 2 cents....I took Slim-quick Natural for the first time in November 2009. In the first month I lost 16lbs (yes mostly water weight) but I also cut my calories down to 1200 a day and religiously did Pilates everyday. I couldn't afford to keep buying it but it jump started the process so I felt motivated to keep going. I did meet goal by June 2010. So let me tell you about how it feels...yes you will have more energy, you will get fuller faster if taken as directed, you will pee more often than usual, but you could also suffer with what happened to me, vitamin deficiency, actual withdrawal when you stop taking the pills making you feel lethargic because your body became dependent on the energy from them, and your hair could start falling out. Yepp my once thick and shiny hair started to become thin, not huge clumps falling out but about 100 strands every time I washed, rinsed, brushed, etc. My hair also became very brittle and breakage prone. Fast-forward to January 2011 and I just want to lose 10 more lbs so I bust out the Slim-quick again (fat-burner) and yes it worked but it also decreased my appetite to the point where if I ate more than a yogurt I would feel sick. I could barely eat at all. This led to a severe iron deficiency. Now let me also tell you, all the weight I lost taking those pills...I gained it all back plus some. I took it again in October 2011 and January 2012 and it didn't work, made no difference at all because I was not exercising my bum off and barely eating, I was on bed rest from surgery and eating normally. So to sum all that up...diet pills are the devil, they are expensive ( 1 bottle costs 20$ and lasts 2 and a half weeks) , can cause a plethora of health problems including heart attack, stroke, hbp, blood clots, depression, anxiety, etc) , and ultimately they do NOT make you lose weight. So then why did I have some success taking them?? Because I knew I spent good money on them and I didn't want to waste money by taking them and then binging or eating unhealthy food. You must drink a full glass of water with them 30 minutes before 2 meals a day, hence your stomach is full of water causing you to eat less. They give you as much energy as 2 cups of coffee which you could easily just drink. And for good measure they throw in some vitamins that you probably already take or take in from food. It's really a placebo effect,, every time you pop that pill you think "yeah I'm finally gonna lose weight, I'm gonna make good choices and exercise" but really you can do that with out a pill. Bottom line, don't waste your money and don't risk your health. You can do this the healthy way, exercise and eat right, then you can KEEP it off.0
