...... without a bodybugg or such? We did a massive clean up at a local natural area today.
Took out a bunch of napweed and planted new trees. Worked in the sun for close to 3 hours. Then tonight
went on a 3 mile bike ride. Just have no clue how to figgure out what i may have burned, or how to log it.
(Can you tell i'm new here..lol)

Go to your Exercise tab and then under Cardiovascular click Add Exercise. Type cycling in the search box and you'll get several choices, and you can pick the one that is the closest match to your ride. After you click it, you can enter your time on the right side and it will give you an estimated calorie burn, and you click Add Exercise and it will figure it into your day. Do the same thing for the other work you did - maybe search gardening? You can search through the database to see what's there under the Database tab, then go back and enter it like you did with the cycling.
Hope that makes sense! Welcome to MFP!0 -

Can you please tell me how to put gym exercise on there? I cant find out how to do it. I do weight training but cant see any of that in the list (or am I just not looking hard enough?)

weight training does not include the calories burned coz the amount of calories burned depends on your weight as well as the repetitions. There is one listed in Cardio though (type strength training) but i dont think its really accurate since i know im burning more. There are websites that can calculate the amount of calories burned for a particular exercise though (google in "calories burned in strength training" and several sites will pop up, then maybe you can add that to MFP's database)0
