So I joined up a month or so ago and I'm enjoying the site, and logging in a few times a day.
(and extremely impressed by some of the achievements I've seen on here).
I'm just back in the gym after a few months off with a reoccurrence of an old martial arts injury.
My own goals are nominally about losing weight, but to be honest I'm more focussed on body composition than exact weight.
Have only just started using the message boards, and adding some friends.
Would be great to have a few motivated people to give me abuse as / when I screw up on my numbers.
No preference for location / age / gender / background.
Strong preference for people who are serious about hitting their goals.
Sense of humour is a definite plus...

Hi and welcome
I hereby promise the following:
1. To kick your butt if you mess up
2. To encourage you when if you are feeling down
3. To "electronically" high five you when you lose weight
I'm the same regarding the weight thing. I'm not really worried about what the scales say, more about toning and getting my saggy butt back to pre-pregnancy size and building up some muscle.
Hopefully we can encourage each other to get where we need to be x0 -

I'm right there with you James! I had my ankle replaced in October, and am trying now to get myself fit and active. It can be really tough sometimes, but I've found having friends on this site to support you can be really beneficial.
Hope to join you both in our weight loss journeys. =]0 -
