New to MFP and in need of support!

I just started using MFP a week ago and already love it! But, I'm in need of some support to reach my goals. I used to be way more active than I am now, but after I had my son and became a stay at home mom, I gained 60 pounds from sitting around at home all day! I'm having a hard time not eating because of boredom and finding time to excercise. Any support would be very appreciated! Trying to lose weight on my own is tough.

    If you replace all the junk food with healthy things like veggies, berries, nuts, and drink a ton of water, you shouldn't need to give up snacking at all.

  • Yes we can! That would be great! My boyfriend is no help because he still eats whatever he wants and doesn't excercise much. It's making it more difficult for me. I need support from other people who are working towards the same goal. :)

    Hey! I totally know how you feel about the boyfriend. Mine still eats junk and barely exercises. Whenever I suggest walking our dog he always asks if he can drive next to me, lol. I think you'll really like this site, the people on here are so supportive and motivating. Best of luck to you. :)
