noob couch to 5k... anyone else?

Hi all,
Just joined
I downloaded the NHS couch to 5k podcast series last week and have done 2 already. (3 per week for 9 weeks).
Anyone else combining something like the C25k "regime" with their MFP stuff?

PS my goals are loose weight (I'm 87kg) and get fit/healthy so I live longer to see my new daughter grow up!

There is a whole group geared for c25k!! Lots of info in it. I am on day 2 of week 7!0

I completed the c25k program at the beginning of last year. I love it! I highly recommend it because IT WORKS! Stick with it, you'll do awesome! I've ran a number of 5k's, a 10k and am now signed up for my first half marathon in September.0

I am in week 4. I actually was on week 3 like, 3 weeks ago but I stopped doing it. I don't really have an excuse, I just got lazy I guess. But the other night I decided to go out and pick up where I left off on week 4 day 1, and it went just fine. Planning on going out again tonight. My first 5K is July 1.
I am also doing P90X.0 -

I have a friend who wants me, a new runner, to do a half marathon at the end of June. I am up to the point where I can run 3miles switching 7 min./running with 7mim/walking. I am SO not sure if I can do 13 miles, so I hope at least I can do the 5k.0 -
I'm starting today actually! I'm pumped for it but I've never been a keen runner. Just thought it would be a cool challenge.0

I'm off out tonight, my MFP sugar level for yesterday was MASSIVE! I blame the toffee cake.
Looking forward to week 9 and being to run 5k without collapsing!0
