Hi, I started walking and now have progressed to jogging. Really want to try a 5k. I'm up to 2miles a day and feeling great. Anyone else out there new to or have run a 5k. I could use any suggestions you may have.

I have done two 5k's. The first one I ran/walked. I did that without any training. The second one I ran the whole thing and every time I felt like stopping I would remind myself how strong I was and how far I've come. That was a liitle more than a year ago. I'm out of shape again and started running last week. I do the track at the school. I just run as far as I can go then walk to catch my breath then run again. Hang in there you can do it!0
