Claire Squires (30) collapsed and died while running the London Marathon on Sunday,

The poor girl was fund raising for a charity called the Samaritans, This morning it was reported on the news that her fund raising page was getting donations from all over the world, and it’s gone in the space of 8 hours from 200k to nearly 450k, If your one of those people who have donated, then you are amazing!

My heart goes out to her family and friends.

    I was so upset when I heard this on the news, and it's so unfortunate and sad that she was literally yards from finishing the marathon when she died! My heart goes out to her family and friends too. Such a sad thing but amazing at the money that has been raised for such a worthy cause. X

    It is sad story! but this is life..! my heart is sad for that girl and her family ..

    Age is not a measurement for death, we are all going to die in the end.. Sooner or later.

    It's so very sad and I feel so much for her family and friends.
    I think it's absolutely fantastic though the support from people in donating the money. I gave some money the other day and the site actually crashed at that point so I couldn't leave a message.

    The same happened to me. I complained to justgiving who informed me that they will be donating any of their fees. The story is here...
