Sept 8, 2011- Yellowstone National Park
Weight: 286 Pounds
April 21, 2012- Bryce Canyon National Park
Weight- 204 Pounds
I woke up the morning of October 13, 2011 and decided I wanted to feel better, be healthier, and most importantly prove to myself that I could do it. I have logged into MFP everyday since. The first month I lost 20 lbs. By mid-November I had joined a gym and the weight loss continued. By mid-December, none of my clothes fit.
I am now 4 pounds from Onederland and the top of my Healthy BMI weight. The clothes I bought/received in December are all now too big. I am planning to lose another 10-20 pounds. I am working more on toning and building muscle.
If I can do this, any of you out there can do this!!!

I did a double take when I saw the dates. Bravo! I keep trying to resist asking everyone 'what did you do. Whats your secret', cause I'm sure I'll get the 'exercise and watching what I eat' standard response.0

I was gonna call BS because I didn't notice the prosthetic in the Yellowstone pic - and cutting off a leg to claim weight loss in Bryce Canyon seemed TRULY like cheating
