    I made these today... they are great!

    I used 2/3 cup sugar and NO Splenda or any other sweetener. I bumped up the applesauce by 1/4 cup.

    I also did grind the oats first, then added the hot water. That went into a mixing bowl with all the other ingredients too.

    I added all the choc chips on top just before going into the oven.

    I baked for 25 minutes, but it might even need a little more.

    I made 18 out of the batch at 104 calories (with real sugar!)

    I made these last night. I can't believe how good they are ! I brought them to the office this morning, and they were a big hit.

    I have actually made these before, and I'm not gonna lie the consistency was weird. They get a weird plastic-y shell on the top. Once they cooled they tasted somewhat sweet but warm they were not that great. I'd rather wait and splurge on a real muffin at the end of the week!

    very yummy recipe! mine turned out to be 65 calories 2 fats 2 fiber :=== 1 ww point (old system) weird/but enjoyable techture VERY chocolatey!!! 3 thumbs up! haha
