Restarting Insanity??

Hi everyone!
I was wondering if I could get some of your guys' opinions on this. I started Insanity two months ago (yesterday would've been my last day), but I didn't finish the program. Month 1 went great, I was eating relatively well and never skipped a workout, even threw in some extra running here and there. I saw pretty decent results, not amazing, but I didn't have all that much to lose in the first place. Month 2 started off okay, but second week in I started skipping workouts and my eating got pretty bad. I'd always make up for the skipped workouts, by either doubling up the next day or using a rest day to do it, but it wasn't quite the same. Third week went fairly well in terms of workouts, I pushed a lot harder than I had before and saw some results. However, my eating was really at an all time low, with the stress of exams and life, my sugar and carb intake went way high. And then the fourth week I didn't do any of the workouts, except on Monday. I wanted to, but I had a bunch of finals back to back, and I essentially had to learn an entire semester's worth of material for a couple of my courses over a matter of three days. I just physically didn't have the time to put in an hour of working out, when I really could have been studying. On top of that, I really wasn't paying attention to my eating, at all. Again, high stress = high sugar intake, for me. It was really really bad, I wouldn't be surprised if I've gained back everything I lost.
SO, my question is, do I restart Insanity? I really loved the workouts, but I don't know if I'm up for a whole two months of intensity ahead of me. I was thinking of restarting just month two, but I don't know if that would be the best way to get results. I'm basically going to be on the beach, about two months from today (actually, if I restarted insanity today, I'd finish the 63 days the day before I left), so that's kind of a huge motivating factor for me. I can really focus on my nutrition and workouts and stuff now, seeing as finals are over and I have a couple weeks to get back on track before I go back to school for spring semester. What do you think would be the best option for me, at this point? Just re-do month 2, or restart the whole program (as daunting as that seems), or even just do the first month again? I'd really appreciate some input!
PS - sorry, I didn't mean for this to be so long!

You got into some tricky circumstances! I know I definitely find it more difficult to eat well and get the exercise in at times of high stress. You did get pretty far with it - would there really be any harm in starting it again? If you don't have any more high-stress times ahead of you, I say go for it!0

Month 1 is prep for month 2 work out. You will burn calorie in Max series so if you can handle month 2 then go for it.0

So it just occurred to me that I'll have finals again near the end of June (for spring semester), which would coincide with the last couple weeks of insanity if I redo the whole two months again.
I never thought of it that way, firedragon, but I guess that makes sense...I can definitely handle month 2, so I think I'll go ahead and just do that - restart month 2. I'm thinking of throwing in some light running here and there as well, just to get the maximum results possible. Thanks a lot, guys!
I also have another question; The nutrition guide says to up your calorie intake for month two, would it be okay if I didn't do that? Say I stuck with the ~1500 recommended for me for the first month, will that just improve the weight loss? Or am I setting myself up for failure? Any inputs?0
