Alternate Pull-Up exercises

I'm thinking of re-starting P90X, but I don't have any of the things around my door frames to do pull-ups....I also use resistance bands rather than free weights.

What alternate exercises can I do that will target what pull-ups do? Seated Rows, or something to that effect?

The pull-up thing is the only thing that's really keeping me from re-starting.

Thanks in advance!

You can use the resistance bands to simulate the pull ups. You can buy an anchor that you attach to your fitness band (you slide it to the middle of the band) and throw that over the door then close it. I just did chest & back the other day and one of the guys was on the bands. If you do them at the appropriate angle, it's very similar to doing the pull up.

Walmart sells them for about $25~
other than that, how about the local park and knock them out on the swing set...

I don't have a portable dvd player LOL!

I also down have crown molding over the doors to put a pull up bar. However I DO have a door jam for resistance bands. I'll look into that!

    Thanks!!!
