what can I put over my carpet to workout?

I have carpet in my game room at home where I have a tv I could use to do P90x, what could I put down over the carpet so I can workout in there?

    If your in the states you can get six 2 x 2 puzzle mats that are an inch thick (see pic. below) like I use for the floor of my home gym for $19.99, I also use them for doing insanity to protect my carpet and they work great and are very durable.
