Food Journal - Recording Vegetables / Salads

Hello. I'm wondering how many of you record every vegetable.
Take a salad for example
lettuce/onions/carrotts/tomatoes/cucumber/etc./etc.

Do you record every vegetable in the salad?

I have been recording those myself but its time consuming cause I have like 2 salads per day.
Another program I was on, veggies were FREE (no counting) and I was successful there too.

So what do you do? What do you recommend?

p.s. of course I record any dressing or cheese or fruits I put I put on the salads due to calories of those items

thanks

I usually measure and log EVERYTHING I put on my salad, the veggies don't usually add up to a lot of calories but I like to be very accurate in my food journal.

I log all my veggies - I tend to eat the same things a lot so I save them in My Meals or as Recipes, then I don't have to enter all the ingredients each time.

If you generally make your salads in a similar manner, create a meal or recipe, then just add the meal whenever you have the salad. That way you only have to set it up once and can just add one entry anytime you have a salad that's the same in the future. If I have a different ingredient, I do the meal and then just log the extra ingredient.

Its tedious so I usually keep my salad ingredients to just a few. Chopped cucumber, tomato and onion for example with balsamic and flax seeds.

I measure & log everything... I have a couple different salads I make.
so I "save" the meal... before I add my drink or anything other then the salad to that meal... then I name the salad what I had.... that takes away from the "time consuming" part of logging it ;) Hope that helps ya.
