Hi everyone,
In need of some advice, I am getting married in just over 10 weeks and I need to shape up my arms fast!! I am currently doing the 30DS and definitely feel I'm getting stronger and more toned but I was just wondering what else I can do to really get rid of the bingo wings? With the dress I've chosen it's only really everything from the cleavage up that'll be on show!
Thanks

All you can do is watch your diet and exercise and hope your body decides to burn the fat there. Strength training for your upper body may help, but so would doing lower body would help you burn more calories too.
You can attempt to spot reduce, but it wont help THAT much. All you can do is watch your diet closely and exercise.0 -
I got rid of mine in 3 weeks by going to the gym, lifting heavy - tricep kickbacks, curls, rows, deadlifts all will help tone the muscle you have. So long as you don't have a lot of extra fat on your arms you should be able to tone them pretty quickly.
Watch your calories, eat some protein and lift some weights Good luck0 -
Thanks snookumss, if it doesn't work I'll just have to superimpose your arms on all my pictures....:laugh:0

I found my arms got tighter doing turbofire as it's kickboxing based cardio so a lot of punching whilst burning up calories.0

Thanks for the advice, am carrying a fair amount of fat on my upper arms I think but it's worth a try!0 -
I usually think of "bingo wings" as those hanging triceps muscles. If you're talking about having fat on the backs of your arms, then all you can do is lose weight and hope they're not one of the stubborn, last-to-go pockets of fat. If you actually have triceps that swing, then you can target them by doing weight-resistance exercises, including pulling down on cable, extending a free weight backwards, dipping your upper body from a sturdy chair or bench, etc. You can look up "triceps exercises" on Google to get some ideas and find one that works for your situation and equipment.0

Great, thank you!0 -
I had the same issue before I got married last October (we had 2 months to plan it). Loosing some weight, and doing lots of back/arm strengthening yoga poses helped. However, if you (like me) are made to carry fat around there, it's probably the last place you will loose it. It might sound really shallow, but I learned to pose so it minimized the look of them in front of the mirror :S0

Oooh, that's good to know.....if the exercise fails, that's a good back-up plan, I'll get practising...thanks!0 -
Best of luck, and enjoy the day! Your face will be glowing with happiness, and if you feel comfortable and beautiful in your dress, no one will notice your arms anyways.I had the same issue before I got married last October (we had 2 months to plan it).
