Hey everyone
I joined my local gym about two years ago, not really knowing what i was doing, ended up doing the same cardio routine and hardly no weights for 2 years, but not consistently, but still really enjoying working out even though I lost 2 stone and have gained 1 stone back.
Well it was when I hit my 30th birthday in January that i decided that something needed to change. My journey of becoming a healthier, fitter me, started when i quit smoking 7 weeks ago i knew that if i wanted to get my fitness levels up i didnt have a choice as it was holding me back, I decided to just do it and go cold turkey, and i havent looked back, i feel so much fitter and healthier and can workout out longer and harder the only down side is i have been eating more :blushing: so im hopeing that i can combat this by logging what i eat.
I have been given a training plan by a trainer at my gym that i started on Friday which mixes up my cardio and adds in alot of working out on the weight machines, I finally feel like im working out properly aching muscles but loving it
Im hopeing to progress onto free weights and have brought 30 day shred to try in the future and would like to start NROLFW (which i brought today) in a few months time so have lots of goals
Very excited and looking forward to starting my journey and getting stronger, going to take some before pics and measurements tonight so that im not just concentrating on weight loss/gain
I would really like to meet like minded friends who will motivate me and in turn motivate them to be the best that we can be.
