Supplement Advice

So I've been thinking of taking some supplements/protein shakes for a while now, and I think I've come up with a plan.
I was thinking....PhD Lean Degree tablet when I get up, PhD Recovery shake after a workout and PhD Diet Whey shake in the evening. Does that sound sensible or too much?
Any advice on the whole topic would be great!

Take either Whey or Soy protein when you wake up along with your first meal. Take a BCAA supplement before a workout and whey protein shake after. Take a casein protein shake before bed. During the day take a multi vit and two fish oil pills. You will be healthier and get fitter for it.
This is what I have been doing and it works really great. Do not be afraid of protein when you are cutting or trying to lose weight. If you happen to notice a slight increase in water weight don't sweat it. It is perfectly fine and healthy.
This will help ensure you maximize your needed nutrients, get all the protein you need and prevent catabolism as much as possible.0 -
Thanks Anyone else?0

What you need depends on your current protein intake. I use them whey mixes when I can't eat . I also consume with my meals if it's not going to contain enough protein.
There are a few good low cal protein sources if you'd prefer food over shakes. Egg whites, or the "egg beaters" type products have similar protein per calorie as whey. Chicken breast and 93% ground beef also work well for protein during mid day meals and snacks.
Fat free Greek yogurt at bedtime contains the casein (slow releasing). I like flavor in mine, so I use sugar free drink mix or low sugar jams to flavor it.0 -
Eating my calorie count.
Okay so how important is it that I eat my calorie count. I know that if I eat too little my body will go into starvation mode but I did eat almost up to my alloted 1200 calories. The thing is I worked out today as well and I burned a bunch of calories. Of course that means I should be able to eat more. However, my day is almost over and I'm not actually that hungry so my question is this.
Should I go home and try and find a healthy snack to eat so I'm closer to my calorie goal or is it okay to be 3-400 under one day as long as I didn't starve myself. I think my diary is open to everyone so you can feel free to look if you like.
