I have my treadmill (which I love!), I am "trying" to do the 30DS, but it looks as if my knees may prevent me from doing my best at it, I do Zumba on my Xbox. I live in a tiny town and I HATE the gym here :(, does anyone have any suggestions on other workouts I can do at home? Any DVD suggestions?

Insanity is pretty good. You get a cardio workout and some strength training. It is intense interval training

I love Insanity too and TurboFire is one of my absolute favs, along with TurboJam. Insanity might be hard on your knees if the 30DS is giving them problems.

With bad knees you might want to try slim in 6. I have seen it on craigslist alot for a great price. Good luck

I use Slim in Six (part of the Beach Body program)
and its relatively low impact on the knees if done with proper form.
Its a good workout and you'll really feel it in your butt and thighs.

Depending on your TV services (I have AT&T Uverse) they usually have free FitTv shows you can watch to see if you like the program - if you do then you go buy the series. I have also heard of a lot of people finding exercise videos on UTube (I haven't done it yet so don't hold me to it) but this way you can try a few different things at your activity level and see what you like best. I used to love doing Jane Fonda's step aeorbics but the VCR ate my tape:explode:

These are sooo many to choose from:

30 Day Shred is high impact ..... I have wonky knees & can't do this one either.

I LOVE Kelly Coffey Meyer. She has a series of DVDs called 30 Minutes to Fitness. Everything from weights, kickboxing, step, bootcamp ..... it just depends on what you like.

30 Minutes to Fitness - Body Training is excellent, no equipment required. 2 - 30 minute workouts & premixes to keep it fresh. http://www.collagevideo.com/workout-video/kelly-coffeys-30-minutes-to-fitness-body-training-5756

Collagevideo.com has lots of video clips, reviews (professional & consumer) .... I don't shop for videos without looking here first. You get impact level, equipment needed, choreography level (I have 2 left feet).

Check your local library, on-line (Hulu.com, Netflix) .. test drive a few. Find what you like.

For cardio - I really like Leslie Sansone Walk at Home. I had a treadmill, but got burned out. .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnsfbneFQ_8&feature=related These are chaptered, you can skip around, do as much as you have time for.

For low impact but good intensity, try Jeanette Jenkins Kickbox Bootcamp or her 21 day Hollywood Makeover...it's a book that comes with a great workout DVD. Very little jumping in the Kickboxing, no jumping in the other one.
