Quick Cook (not instant) oatmeal

I know instant oatmeal isn't supposed to be as good for you because of less fiber or it's been broken down too much or something like that. But what about the "Quick Cooking Whole Grain oatmeal" that says in the ingredients "100% whole grain rolled oats". Are those just as good as the slow cooked oatmeal or is there a difference? 1/2 cup contains 150 cal, 27g carbs, 4 g fiber and 6g protein.

From the Quaker Oats website -

"Quaker® Old Fashioned Oats are whole oats that are rolled to flatten them. They contain all parts of the oat grain including the bran, endosperm and germ portion. Quick Quaker® Oats are made the same way but are simply cut into slightly smaller pieces so they cook faster."

I have had both and see no difference between the two other than the cooking times. Both are filling and low glycemic index foods that are filling for the amount of calories they cost. I don't necessarily like the bland flavor so I will add fruit, Splenda and cinnamon, or sugar free preserves.
