Strength Training question

Is there any certain time that is better to START lifting weights? My cardio right now consists of walking, bike and the occasional fitness class. I am 155 lbs. Down from 180. Should I lose some more weight before I start lifting?

Now is good .... there is no set time providing you have no medical issues (if you do get a Dr's clearance).0

if you don't start now and succed with your DIET and cardio then you'll look like a stick with still some flab on your belly. Weight training is the best and shouldn't be avoided.0

Start today!! If you dont about 22% of your total weight loss will be lean muscle!! This is why most people who just diet and or do cardio are not happy with their results once they reach or even surpass their goal.0
