    This.
    RUN.
And this. Sprinting, specifically. It will fire the glutes better than regular running/jogging.

    What is good-mornings?

They're great for strengthening the posterior chain (hips, lower back, glutes, hamstrings).

I run and teach Spin plus do squats and lunges for lower body twice a week. I think I need to check out the Brazilian and the good mornings. I used to love the butt blaster machine.

Romanian deadlift for both butt and hamstrings, which are often overlooked. Also bridges, one of the best exercises for the but and low back, remember to squeeze at the top. Do them and you'll know you worked your glutes for at least two days after.

    Squats & deadlifts.

And some lunges too if you want your butt to feel like it's made of granite.

in addition to previously mentioned squats, lunges, and dead lifts, i'd like to throw in kettle bell swings and kb snatches. they engage mostly your shoulders, but if done properly, they engage you legs and gluetes too. make sure to give at the top of the swing a little elvis presley-esque groin thrust. that goes for squats and dead lifts too.

I never got a ton of glute activation from squats and deads. Doing barbell hip thrusts has helped build some muscle there, and has also helped me learn to activate them better in other lifts.

I'm also the only male in my gym (and possibly the world) to use the hip abductor machine, but don't tell anybody.
