Does your idea of sexy differ from partners?

I am wondering this because my partner and I have 2 different tastes on "sexy women". He likes women that look kinda like healthy fashion models, skinny, not a lot of definition in arms or abs, but not anorexic looking. I like women who are more tone and defined like fitness models, but not bulky. The reason why I am wondering is: I know when I get to my goal weight my arms and abs are probably going to be too buff for him. I know what I look like cut. Not saying he is gonna dump me, or not support me, or that I am doing it for his opinion. Anyone else go through this in their transformations? Any ladies get "too buff" for their men?

I am trying to get muscular and defined and will have a loooong road ahead of me in that regard since I have so little muscle, but I know one day I will get where I want to be and when I do my husband will have to just suck it up. Lol, he sounds pretty much like you described in his preferences but I just wonder if he's worried I won't look feminine. I think women with defined muscles are awesome!!!

I am in the same delima as you! I like the look of the fitness models...nice and toned, good muscles but they really only look 'manly' if they focus on making them look that way. I told my husband by the time i'm 30 i wanna participate in a fitness/body competition. He told me he wouldn't touch me...in ANY way....so long as I looked like that. I find it very discouraging, but this is MY life, not his. If he really wants to tread on the waters of no sex with his wife for however long, then so be it, but he'll be the one hurting in the end, not me!

My partner's definition of sexy looks like me

My definition of sexy looks like anything but me

    So yeah, we differ.

My new bf told me the other day he doesn't like skinny women. He likes a curvy athletic girl. He adores my thick legs and is always complimenting them and loves the fact that I'm active. I appreciate it because I'll never be a super skinny supermodel type. My goal is to be strong and toned while keeping my curves.

Nope, I think we are on the same page, however, she has asked me to start buying my own sexy clothes. I'm stretching the hell out of her lingerie and I can't even get my feet in her heels.

    Definitely.

My partner likes guys who are a little bit chubby (lucky for me!). I like guys who look like Zac Efron. lol
  • This is not on other ladies, I am going to use me as an example...

When starting he didn't really notice how big I actually was. Then I started. About 15 lbs ago he was happy with my look. I had a butt and boobs. My last 15, I basically lost all that. He now tells me I look anorexic, when I think I look great. He wants me to be tone, but I am starting to get a noticeable change in definition in my arms and he is not to keen on it. I on the other hand LOVE the look. But, I look at it like this. How can he be happy with me if I am not happy with myself. He will love me no matter what size I am, but will love me more with my new confidence. I can strut around in little night gowns and he will look at me not my body. So I will continue to do this for me. So I can be happy.
