    jonco, you are so right there! Kinda adds that *special sparkle* to our other #1 designations, like teen pregnancies, illiteracy, and such. (Not sure if we are the official #1 for those at this exact moment, but if not, we ain't far from it!)

    Just the number of students we have to monitor for Type 2 diabetes at the high school where I teach is astounding. We are a small school, fewer than 500 in 9-12th grades and there are some 40 students we have to keep an eye on.

    Well, my husband is from Mississippi and we come from Wisconsin to Mississippi every Thanksgiving. I love the beauty and friendliness of the people. My kids love traveling there as well. We can't wait to be done there this year.

    Or learn to make your cornbread with SQUASH!! Kind of like subbing applesauce for oil in brownies.
