John Densmore?
EDIT: Top 1000 -
Rick Allen? Def Leppard? No one can compete as this guy is MISSING AN ARM. end of discussion.
SInce it was all electronics and drum machines he is off the list. Had he not lost the arm, he was on his way to being a great, great drummer. His work on High n Dry, Pyromania and On Through the Night belies his years.0 -

Neal Peart is great and all--but take away his drum solos and time signatures and ask him to play a thick, rockin', hard hittin groove, and frankly he is a bit atrocious.
Side note: I DO like Rush. A lot. Truth is truth however.
Oh my list:
John Bonham and the rest of the list are his disciples and admirers anyway.0 -
I ♥ Neil Peart. I want to have his babies.0

Very good list. Nice to see Chester Thompson, Bill Bruford, and Carl Palmer on there.
Bonham, Peart, and Moon would be my top three. I always liked Ian Paice's work as well, but I don't know if he'd make my top 10.0 -

Travis Barker.. Is no one going to mention him? That guy has been in a plane crash.. Lost his best friend.. Had huge burns and skin grafts all over his body.. And he is still just as epic as he was before.0
