Hi there, I'm from U.K (NI to be exact) and this is my second week and am finding that friends for support and encouragement is a big part of what makes MFP work.

so if anyone out there wants to add me as a friend please do!

I'm about 226 pounds at the minute but also tall but could do with shedding about 3 or 4 stone.

I have also started Gillian Michaels 30 day shred yesterday (OMG!) so we'll see how that goes!

Who knew it was so easy to pick up some friends!!! Have added you all, cheers!

Claire594 - hope the 30DS is going well for you and I hope you can tell me day 10 was easier than day 1!

I looked at level 2 and there is some scary stuff in there but maybe after level one you feel ready for it???

BTW how do I get my ticker onto my posts?

    Hi maxxi,

I hated level 2 the first time I did it because of all the plank moves but I was about 20lbs heavier then so I hoping it is easier this time round. I'll let u know tomorrow lol.

To get the ticker go into the settings on the message boards and tick the wee box.

What other stuff are u doing? I started c25k as well. On week 6. Am so excited as I never thought I could run but yesterday I ran for 20 mins without stopping.

Thanks Claire, I got the ticker!

Yeah planks and push ups are my worst nightmare! I also did couch to 5k a while ago - its a great programme as I never thought I could run for 30 minutes, never mind 5! Sort of stuck at 30 minutes now but running with a friend and we are trying to push past that. I suppose I need another app to tell me what to do next!

Missed my 30DS yesterday so think I will start day 1 again today - its gonna be a long month!

Well done on completing the couch to 5k program maxxi. It's hard going. Once i complete it I'm going to sign up for parkrun. They are free 5k runs round UK and Ireland. Don't know where in ni u are from but I like outside Belfast and there are a few different ones around there. Once I'm comfortable doing 5k I'm going to download the bridge to 10k app to try and increase my distance. Maybe u could give that a try.
  • Im a uk newbie too! x
