Soo i am TRYING to LOSE weight not maintain...and i have looked other sites to see exactly how many calories i SHOULD be eating. According to MFP i will only be losing .2 lbs every week!? to ME that doesnt sound like a very big loss Im wondering if i should just cut my cals down?! Everyone keeps saying that 1200 is TOO LOW however you start increasing your calories the less weight you are going to lose....This all just seems VERY confusing.....HELP please

I'm not an expert but, I'd say keep it at 1200 calories, but work out harder. Do cardio 4 times a week and strenght training two times a week until you get to your desired weight. I set a calories burned for the week goal. My goal was to burn 3500 calories this week. It will say your going to lose that much weight but only you can really controll how much you lose. Remember this is not a race.0
