Is My meat still good?

Options
I took some ground turkey out of the freezer Monday night and put it in the fridge. I never got to cook it on Tuesday or Wednesday, so I decided to make it today, but no one can tell me if it is still good. I don't want to cook it if it's not... so can someone let me know if I should toss it or cook it?

Thanks!

I do that a lot. Mine has a date on it. If its Jennie o, it will have a use by or sell by date.

Smell it. You'll know if it's bad or not. ;)

Unless it was old to begin with, it's probably okay.

Unless it smelled or looked off, I'd cook it.

I got really sick from left over turkey once..and I would toss it...BUT that is me being cautious. Since this is ground turkey, just make sure you cook it really hot and that should kill bacteria. If it smells funny at all...toss it...lol...or else you might be tossing something else and feeling horrible while you do...Good luck

Smell it. Look at it. Feel it. If it smells okay, looks okay and is not slimey. Then it's okay to cook.

If it's been frozen, the sell by date would no longer apply
