Fashion help - please!!!!!

I am looking for some pretty, just-above-the- knee (not miles!) separated skirts for holiday - I look truly dreadful in shorts and hate them - but don't mind skirts - There used to be loads of them around - tried googling skorts - but they only come up with sport ones and coulottes are not quite what I am ,looking for - which is pretty, floaty, skirt-like shorts - any ideas (i am in the UK but happy to use internet!) Ta! (I have also posted this elsewhere so sorry if reading for second time)
