Hello Jennc37,
Well I am not new to this site but let me just say I've not been using it. That is until I went to the Doctor's last week. Well my prospective on weigh loss has changed and its now truly a matter of my health to get rid of the 60 pounds that I carry around with me. I am willing to help you and motivate you and in return I hope that you can help and motivate me as well.
So today I actually ate breakfast lol one of the hardest things for me to do along with eating small regular meals. I have a very slow metabolism and I can eat once and not want to eat till the next day. So I am working on my bad eating schedule. This week I will be joining the gym and working out 5 days a week (so says my doctor). She wants to see me down to 160 in a little less than 3 months.
My goal weight is 120 pounds. I am 4' 11 and I presently weigh 174.8 pounds so I am on my way to working very hard at losing the weight. I have a friend who actually works at the gym and he will be motivating me while I am there.
One good way to motivate your self is to dress in good looking gym clothing that fits you properly. If you look frumpy when you go to the gym and you look in the mirror how is that going to help you? Its not, so dress good looking when you go to the gym, get a proper fitting sports bra (yes it cost a lot of money but will be well worth it). Look good feel good. When you walk out the gym you should be able to look in the mirror and see you looking good not frumpy because you had on that old t-shirt or sweat shirt.
Just my thoughts for today :-)0 -
This site is terrific for those that want to lose a little or a lot. There is something here for everyone and the support from friends is the best. Feel free to add me to your friends list. I still have about 50 pounds to lose and always looking for supportive friends along the way. Best of luck.0

thank you so much!
I would love motivation, and to have motivation in return!
I have an open diary, so feel free to make suggestions!
Breakfast was hard to me to a little while ago, however I found that once I started eating a healthy breakfast I felt better through out the day. I usually have an egg and hole grain toast or something. It is definitely worth it!
I love going to the gym, however one i get there I normally only want to stay for an hour..I need to come up with a work out that makes me want to stay at the gym!
I have a moto though: feel FABULOUS, look FABULOUS, BE FABULOUS!0
