    We adopted them from a shelter on Labor day last year. They are about 3 years old, litter mates, who were basically neglected after their owner passed away because the owner's husband didn't have time to take care of them... they were stuck in a room with food/water and a litter box. They had a window to look out of, and that's it. Only human interaction was when the littler box was cleaned and they were fed. They were scared of the ceiling fan and the tv when we brought them home.

    They act like they own the place now. :)

    P.S. their names are Pixie (the one with the stripe on her nose) and Brownie. We didn't change their names when we adopted them.
