This is the day before we got our pup Angus from a local rescue organization:

And, this was just a couple of days ago at 5 months old. He is so patient with our 2 year old:

We also have two cats Jasmine and Milky. Jasmine is about 10 years old. We got her from a friend who rescued her from the shelter about 5 years ago. She is definitely the queen of the house. Milky just showed up on our doorstep on my birthday 2-1/2 years ago, and she never left. (will post pics of them later)

I put my Dogg in braided pony tails. Why you ask? Because it's hardcore and only gangsta doggs can do it!

These are my dogs. They are both rescue dogs from a puppy mill. We got them 4 years ago, when they were around 4 years old. They had lived their entire lives together, in a filthy cage and were in pretty bad shape. As you can see, they are still together, but they are happy and healthy now!

They still have little 'quirks' from being neglected and abused for so long. They are both deathly afraid of any loud noise. Needless to say, New Year's Eve and the 4th of July are especially traumatic at our house. They are afraid to step on grass, they had never been able to walk on it before we got them. With coaxing, they will come with us on the grass, but prefer to be on something more 'solid'.

Flava Flav on the left and Ice T on the right.

Two sisters had their babies on the same day. Each mommy had three kittens. They take turns nursing and washing the 6 kittens. SOOO sweet!!! I think the same dad got both moms because 4 of the 6 kittens are black.

I don't have any pics of my dogs off hand... But these are all so great! I love dogs/animals more than people.
    Sad I know.. But true..
My husband always tells the joke... If you locked your wife and dog in the trunk, who would be happy to see you when
you opened it? LOL cracks me up... They are always so excited to see us no matter what.

Here's my furry friend - my Golden Retriever, Eric, named for Monty Python's Eric Idle:

    7179225_764.jpg

He's never without at least one tennis ball, and usually two. Seriously. Never. He's very OCD about his tennis balls.
