Your local library most likely carries an assortment of exercise videos that you could check out.0

Like others have mentioned, push ups, triceps dips, stairs. Also planks, crunches, lunges. Go to a kid's playground and use the equipment to do things like modified pull ups, full pull ups, use the stairs to do step aerobics, put your feet or knees up on a step or something to do push ups on an angle so that your head is lower than your feet or knees. You could fill empty plastic emergency gas cans with water and do Farmer's walk or push press above your head with one and then walk back and forth with it. There are a number of yoga poses that use your body weight and work the arms and shoulders.0

Thanks for posting this question as I was researching things to do myself. I don't have money for a gym, nor are there any in my local area. I work 12 hour shifts standing all day and the last thing I want to do is travel after work. i want to workout at home and don't have spare room to house alot of big, bulky equipment. I love all the ideas and websites others are sharing....thanks!
This is exactly the same as me i mostly finish at 10pm at work and its now coming into winter so its harder to get outside to do things plus it rains all the time0 -
I need to learn how to correctly do all of these things such as pushups and sit ups etc. Don't have stairs available to me or a playground near by. Ill try youtube but i dont think my downloads could cope. I like the idea about the iphone apps. Thanks again everyone so many great ideas.0

If you have Direct TV there are free VODs (Video on Demand) exercise videos. Just download then and go for it
If you yard sale during the summer, maybe look for exercise videos or cheap equipment? (I know you didn't want to spend money but if its cheap, it might be worth it)
There are a ton of websites that show exercises that require no equipment. Just google it0 -
youtube.com
Look up certain workouts and it will show you. Try to find one that has positive comments.0 -
I have found a lot of channels on Youtube with lots of workouts! Some are only 10 minute workouts, some have up to 30 minute workouts. And some of the 10 minute ones say you're supposed to do them 3 times through so you have the option of making them longer. Plus some with Zumba.

I have been gym-membership free for about 3 years now. I have a good pair of running shoes, a set of dumbells and a yoga mat. I just set myself up with my own personalized beginners weight lifting routine. The best advice I read was to do 2 excersices per muscle group which include:
Back
Shoulder
Chest
Triceps
Biceps
Lower body
Abdomin
Then I went online and researched excercises for each muscle group until I found 2 per group that seemed easy enough for me and didn't require heavy equiptment. The biggest reason I am actually USING this routine is because I made a workout log using excel. There is a column that I fill out for every date that I do the routine. Then for each excersice I write down how many reps/sets I did and how much weight I used. I fill it out as I finish up with each excersize so it keeps me organized (because 2 excercises x 7 muscle groups x 3 reps equals alot to keep track of)!
Good luck!0 -
comcast on demand under sports and fitness. It's free and tons of workouts.0

I've really liked LiveExercise.com. They have a bunch of free workouts, they just advertise (and use) their resistance bands. I usually do their kenpo kickboxing (for cardio) or yoga videos (which don't use their bands). They work you pretty hard even if you don't use their bands.
They also have low bandwith option videos, which are a lot less laggy since my internet can be kinda slow.0 -

On Youtube put "BeFit" in the search bar. They have tons of free workouts to choose from. I like some of the Denise Austin ones. She has some 20min butt kicker vids.
OMG I love this, I think I'm going to add this to 3DS to mix it up a bit thank you!!0 -
There are lots of fitness routines on youtube. If you have stairs at home, that is something you can do for cardio, etc.0
