Mood Swings

Anyone experience any kind of mood changes after beginning to eat healthier? I've been very positive and happy, but also crying a lot--happy crying, I guess. Weird, no?

Had a major melt down today just as my poor guy got home from work. I blame hormones though, that and dealing with my teenager all day, grrrr! He was a doll though. After some snuggling and some chocolate, the mood has swung back the other direction! Yay! lol!0

lol! It's all good!! Its a combo of hormones and chemicals changing in your body!
Anytime I start my 21-day fast w/my church in January I get headaches and go to bed early (sleepy)! Its just my body detoxing of impurities!
Just drink lots of water and try to find fun and a variety of ways to make fun meals!
I made a low carb pizza the other day with cauliflower crust and yummy cheese, veggies, chicken and marinara !!
happy journey WOOO SAAAAAA!!0 -
I have noticed that I'm in better mood and just generally happier. It feels great! Also a little more emotional than usual but I am a sap to begin with:) I find when I hear a story that is something I can relate to I get emotional.0

It cause u gotta deal with ur emotions now! Can't stuff them down with food no more! I find I can get emotional alot easier, and I have the most weirdest dreams lol0

I've only started eating healthier over the last 2.5 weeks, and I have to say that my mood had changed dramatically! I feel better, I'm less grouchy, I have more energy, etc. I haven't noticed any increased urges to cry though.0

I haven't been moody so to speak but I do feel a little hyper sometimes and find it hard to sleep. One of my kids even told me that she thought I had ADD.0

Thats a good point. I too have had some weird dreams since eating cleaner. I have noticed myself that I do feel alot happier since I started bout 3 months ago.0 -
I'm an even bigger d*ck especially if I miss a meal. A couple weeks ago we got hung up on something at work and I didn't eat for like 8 hours, wasn't pretty for anyone who screwed up during that time.0

I have never felt like an emotional eater, I guess. My weight has never gotten so out of control that I started thinking about that, I guess. It's possible.
Kind of feel like I'm getting sadder now, too, though. I have a lot of change (or hoping for a lot, at least) in my life lately. Maybe things are just coming up to the surface.0 -

Have you cut back drastically on carbs?
