Almond Butter

Is there any brand out there that doesn't add sugar? I just bought Barney Butter and it's natural almond butter however it has added sugar which I do not like.

Aside from finding a place where I can actually grind my own are there any brands that just has almonds?

    Woodstock Farms makes one with just roasted almonds. Good stuff, a bit pricey though.

    Can you get it at a health food store? Is it something that's "region specific"?

    I'm not sure. You can check on their website, they have a store locator. Personally I get mine in the organic section of Wegmans, a major grocery chain in Western NY.

    In my experience, the best almond butter is the type where the stores have a grinder set up so you can make it fresh right there. The fresh market and whole foods both usually have almond butter and peanut butter grinders. The krogers near me just got one as well.
