new guy from s.jersey.....

just found this site about 2 months ago. i have found it to be a great tool..

this time last year i weighed 210 pounds and was crazy out of shape. hated how i felt. may of 2011 i joined a boot camp type of class. its has done wonders for me.. i am so much stronger and in a lot better shape cardio wise now its great. i had dropped from that 210 to about 195 pounds. i cut out a lot of the junk but really didn't control my portions properly.

towards the end of march 2012 i seemed to have hit a wall. my weight went back up to about 206 pounds. still getting stronger, still awesome cardio shape but putting a few pounds back on. i decided to see a dietitian. she modified my diet just a bit and told me i should be around 1800 calories a day plus on the days i don't work out that i should do a half hour of anything that gets my heart rate up some..

that was about 5 weeks ago i guess. did what she said. my sister recommended this site which has made it easy to keep track of things and i'm proud to say i dropped 15 pounds that fast. i couldn't believe it. now the dietitian has me modifying the rest of my diet. basically getting it balanced. it was pretty out of whack before. so far so good.. its a lot easier then i ever thought. takes some will power and a major commitment but thats not a problem. im at the point now that people are noticing the weight loss. i have to say that makes things easier for me. i want to work harder now to take off the rest of the weight. i know one thing for sure. i won't be embarrassed to take my shirt off at the beach this summer.. :)
