Went clubbing last night and today is my weigh in day...

I drank a lot of alcohol last night so I don't know whether to weigh myself today or not...any suggestions?

    I wouldnt becuz your probably going to be UP! Unless you weigh yourself everyday like i do!

    It might be up as navyw1fe suggested, but it could also be lower than normal due to dehydration (depending on how much alcohol you consumed) and will go back up once you drink water and eat today. Might be a good idea to weigh tentatively today and check again tomorrow to see if there's a significant difference.

    i would probably wait til tomorrow just because it gives your body time to re-adjust. i know when i go out drinking i must hold a lot of water weight for a day or so because the scale will be off. but by the next day im back on track!

    Cider or lager is yukky for sugar and calories, spirits are way better but not the alcopops.

    When I go out I stick to vodka and diet coke, make sure I shake my booty lots and never sit down. When my top lip goes numb (a sign I've had enough) I switch to bottled water, when I get home I drink 2 pints of water and if I have boozy munchies I eat toast!

    I would bite the bullet and weigh in. If nothing else it will give you a good idea of the effects on your body after a good night out. Besides I bet you did a lot of dancing and hardly sat down.

    This is almost exactly what I stick to - spirits and diet or juice mixers, and lots of dancing! When I start to feel like I'm no longer happily drunk and my head goes unpleasantly spinny I usually drink as much water as possible before we leave the club and then have a bottle of water on the way home. Surprisingly yesterday I was 4lb down rather than up and today once everything was back to normal I found I had actually lost 2lb over the week. Result!
