Hello
I've successfully completed 3 rounds of insanity & 1 round of 30DS, and just started a 4th round of Insanity two days ago (i'm addicted lol).
I'd like a new workout, similar to insanity and I LOVE beachbody programs. So browsing their site I watched all their previews, and chalean extreme looked like a good workout that will deliver results.
but before purchasing it i'd like opinions if anyone has done this workout?? will it be too easy after insanity?? What's it really like? how long of a workout is it and how many days long?! (like insanity is between 30 minute to 60 minute workouts for 60 days)
the more details i can get the better. thanks for any input

Hi!
I have also done Insanity and totally LOVED it. I'm currently in the 3rd month of ChaLEAN Extreme and loving it too. They are definitely different as CLX is focused on lifting and Insanity was crazy intense cardio. That being said, I am planning on doing the Insanity/CLX hybrid when I finish this month.
As far as times it is comparable to Insanity. 36-65 minutes. The lifting days are generally 40 minutes the cardio days are about an hour with the ab video. I am enjoying seeing how much stronger I'm getting and feel very accomplished when I am done but as I said, there it is not as intense as Insanity. The down side I felt with Insanity was the lack of weight training and the downside to CLX is the lack of intense cardio, so that's why I am doing the hybrid next.
Good luck to you!0 -
I am on my second cycle of Chalean Extreme. I love it and I love her. I just do the 3 weight training videos and run for cardio, I find the length of the videos make it easy to fit into my busy schedule. The first program I ever did was P90x and I found it tough and slightly targeted for men. I think Chalean is a great program. My arms and sholders look amazing. You wont regret it.0

I am on my second time through CE. The difference is your are li doing fting weights 3 days in CE not doing cardio all the workouts so I do not think you will get bored or not find it tough enough.0

I love CE. Insanity cardio was too intense for my knees.
Had it for 2 years although I haven't finish a full cycle yet.0
