I'm new!

Hi everyone, I'm new to fitness pal and just joined my local gym. An hour in the gym today - feels good. I am 53 and would like to lose a bit of weight and get some general fitness.

    Hi Lesley, I am also 53 and trying to shift those pounds. Not as easy as it used to be. Fitness pal does show you where you are going with your total amount of food intake. Its supprising how many calories are in the most innocent of foods. I'm managing to walk the dog a good walk in the mornings before work. I find it hard to fit other exercise although we do have a zumba class on tuesdays after work. 3 of us stay behind, we put the DVD on and off we go. Its good fun. I go out cycling when the weather is better thats a big help with the calories. Keep up the good work at the gym. Jane
