I'm in recovery from anorexia, I purge also, but I would still like to lose weight. I want to lose seven pounds the right way, not through starving and harming my body, but how do I do it?
Lately all I want to do is just eat, eat and eat some more:(
I have only just started working out in the last month, I workout for 1 hour everyday, high intensity.
I've always been a healthy eater, for example I prefer a banana to a chocolate bar.
My bmr is 1155 and my tdee is 1848 as I add in my own exercise. I usually burn around 200-350 calories per workout.
I'm five foot and twenty years old.
I would also like to tone up.
Any good advice on this would be great, thanks:)

When you say in recovery, do you mean with the help of a medical team? Your best bet would to be consult a nutritionist who specializes in helping people with ED's and an accompanying therapist. I don't say this to be a PITA, but because the body and mind go through so many changes with ED's. Good luck to you.0

I agree with the above statement. See a nutritionist and a counselor. You can't do it alone. I know ...read my profile! anyways. getting support on here is a good idea, as long as you listen to healthy people(attitude wise I mean, we are all here for help! Purging can actually make you stay at the weight your at, I know. When I stop, I drop a few in like a day or two. Try to eat slowly adding each week. But the trick is to eat snacks throughout the day so your body doesnt have the chance to be famished. And I dont mean to say only eating snacks is healthy, I just mean as a start try small meals throughout the day and gradually add. But try not to over exersize, you'll just mess your metab. up. good luck in recovery, but again get help...and there are eating disorder groups out there just like AA meetings, look them up, that'll help too!0
