So when do you take'em? When you feel extremely tired and it's a workout day do you rest instead?? I ask because I'm feeling a little down today, but it's a workout day, don't wanna over do it? Thanks in advance

I have 2 rests day over the weekend. Mon-Fri I workout.

It would depend on the tiredness I feel. There's a difference between tiredness because I've had a long day, or not enough sleep and tired because I've been overtraining. I rarely miss a workout day, but if I ache a lot, and feel overworked, I'd listen to my body.

To me, "a little down" just means I don't feel up to it (lacking energy/motivation) I would push through that and still go, I guarantee you'll feel better afterwards :)

I have three rest days per week, spread as evenly throughout the week as I can get them.

eh I plan one a week but if I feel like im not getting a pump in the gym or my joints ache too much or I just feel unusually tired ill take one, sometimes what you dont do is more important than what you do

Very much depends on my work schedule! I have a physical job so some days that I'm up working for 12+ hours/day or have busy days back to back I might take one extra on top of my one rest day a week, which is a Saturday or Sunday depending on my plans. I do try to keep busy on a rest day - going for a walk, cleaning the house, yada yada. Sometimes I'll even skip the rest day altogether and do a strength or stretch work out!
