Logging Fitness DVD Workout's

Hiya, those of you that follow fitness DVD's, how do you log the exercise? I am currently following one of Jillian Micheal's and I am unsure of how to log it.

Any help would be great, thank you.

For 30 Day Shred I logged 25 minutes of circuit training.

I've heard "circuit training", but I have an HRM so I know exactly what I'm burning so for JM, RI30 I burn around 300 in 30 mins. So I just added my own exercise and named it JMRI30

Most fitness DVDs could be logged as "circuit training, general" and be pretty close.
  • I'm the same. All I do is dance fitness dvd's. Boots has a exercise calorie checker you might like to check out...

I also use a HRM. JM 30DS Level 2 = approx 200 cals per session - sometimes a tad above, sometimes a tad below.

I go by whatever exercise it most closely resembles. For BeachBody Insanity I log it as Calisthenics (pushups, sit-ups), vigorous effort. A lot of people make a custom exercise and go by the calories on their Heart Rate Monitor.
