Does FT40 polar hrm have vo2 max input?

when you set it up ive read it does a fitness test (can you confirm this?) and i was wondering if it gives you the option to input vo2 max too?
i see the higher levels do but this is really all need to get the most accuraate calorie burning numbers i believe???

I believe it does. You have to do the fitness test first. When you complete the fitness test, it asks if you want to accept the VO2 number from the test. If you push "NO", you then get the option to manually enter VO2 max.
You can double-check by downloading a copy of the user manual.0 -
I have an FT40. Do the fitness test. You can scroll through the menu to reach it (button on right side, either top or bottom button to scroll). I can confirm that it does impact the calorie estimates. I accidently had the wrong VO2max once and my calorie counts were suddenly quite different.0

I own a FT40 and yes you can input your VO2max if you know it.0
