My embarassing little pile of dirt

An alternative "embarrassing moments in the gym" thread.

On Sunday my friends blew me out of a long walk because it was pouring down, do I decided to do a fast, high elevation power-walk on the gym treadmill instead, still wearing my outdoor trainers. When I climbed off that machine, there was a little pile of dried mud about half a metre from the end of the belt that had flown off the tread of my shoes :blushing:

I looked around for a dustpan and brush but ended up having to point the cleaner in the right directly, apologising profusely.

Not what I usually have in mind when I'm looking to get dirty and work up a sweat!

Hope I didn't hit anyone walking behind me with it...

I always thought everyone had 'just for the gym' shoes, except me... Now I feel less alone

I'm the same, I have 1 pair of trainers for everything.
Then again, the only time I wear my trainers outside is on the walk to and from the gym, so they don't really get very muddy! The rest of the time I just wear regular shoes.

I don't have "just for the gym" trainers!!! I have "ok" trainers suitable to wear with jeans and then "all other occasions" trainers for the gym, walking, running, pretty much everything.

At least you admitted you "made" the dirt, I might well have run off and left it!!!

Net time I'll scoop it up and give it to friends with allotments. As I'd been cross-country in them, it was probably very fertile soil!
