Hi,
I know the watch is water resistant, but has anyone had a problem w/ the chest strap going in the pool? If i wear it during a hard workout, it is soaking, anyway...but didn't know if being submerged for a while would hurt it.
thanks!

I have just ordered the Polar FT4 heart rate monitor from eBay and I was curious about this too, so I emailed the seller to ask if it was okay to be submerged under water, and explained I wanted to use it for swimming and he replied saying yes it could!0

per website:
Most Polar products can be worn when swimming. They are not, however, diving instruments. To maintain water resistance, do not press the buttons of the product under water. When measuring heart rate in water, you may experience interference for the following reasons: see web site
