Hi Everyone...I've been working out for 60 days....6 days per week, combination of cardio and strength training. I've lost about 4 inches, but only 1 lousy pound!!!
What am I doing wrong? I don't know if I'm eatig too much or not enough or what's going on??
I stay btw 1400-1600 cals per day and try to eat as clean as possible.
Any suggestions? Please help!

You're not eating enough. Eat more.
What does MFP say you should consume? I'm sure it's probably a NET of 1400-1600... so you need to eat your exercise calories over and above that to make it work.
If you're losing inches, that's good. But unless you really don't have much to lose, you should be able to lose lbs too.0 -
Inches are just as good as lbs.0

MFP says 1210 cals a day..0

MFP says 1210 cals a day..
So you should be eating 1210 cals/day plus whatever you burn in exercise.0 -
How do i create a deficit to lose if I eat my exercise cals back?
Also if I do my BMR's on other sites, it says its 1456.
This is why I'm so confused!0 -

Your BMR is the calories you'd burn if you were comatose... brain functioning, heart beating, digestive system working but NOT moving at all. You burn additional calories just moving around during the day. That can easily be 500 calories in a day. So that's where you'll get the deficit from: everything OTHER than exercise. If you're SUPER sedentary, like you work a desk job and watch TV in your spare time, MFP will help you to create the deficit by telling you to eat slightly under your BMR. You'll lose weight; you may lose lean mass too. The best way to lose without losing lean mass is to eat more and move more.
EDITED TO ADD: Plus, if you eat your exercise calories, you'll bring your net consumption up over the 1456 the other sites say to eat so you're safe either way.
Try it!
OH AND ONE MORE EDIT: If you have your weight loss goal set to losing 2 lbs per week, you're not likely to be able to do while eating enough. Only people with LOTS to lose should be aiming for 2 lbs per week. Half to one pound per week is safest and easiest and is most likely to salvage all your lean mass in the process.0
