Ok so I'm so happy that I finally got my Fitbit techie tool to count my steps! Living on an Optifast 960 calorie diet has been rough but almost a week down so time to reward! This week eating right AND working out seemed like a lot to take on but I put this little Fitbit guy in my pocket and even the tiniest amount of effort is recorded and ready for an indulgent pat on the back! Hope you reward yourself for a job well done this week- I mean seriously how many others are crazy enough to do this for their health?

I just got my fitbit over the weekend and wore it Sunday and today. My first sleep was at 100%.... wow, I am going to try to set it on sensitive tonight to see if I really am sleeping that well.
Also, it takes 10~15 minutes for MFP to pick up the activity calories burned from fitbit. I thought I was done eating for the day, but then when my fitbit exercise finally updated I had a much bigger deficit than before. I'm not going to eat the extra calories because I'm not sure how accurate the fitbit is to my stride yet. Will have to test it out on the treadmill later this week.
have fun with it!0 -
thats great i love my little fitbit i found for sleep at first i slept pretty good but i got to where i would lie awake in bed thinking and wouldn't move my arm, fitbit thought i was asleep so now i have it on sensitive to catch the slightest twitch of movement and i feel the results are more accurate. on the plus side even when not sleeping my body is getting the rest and it explains why i feel blah... i actually seem to feel worse when i get over 6 hrs of sleep and at my best around 4hrs ... not sure why lol but i'll have the feedback to discuss with my doctor for the followup on the sleeping aid she put me on got the fitbit while on it and now off it again for comparison sake0
